Mike Power

As the founder of Power Asset Management, Mikes serves the role as the COO and Wealth strategist for Power Forward’s clients.

He began his career in the early 1990’s as a fixed income expert with firms such as Merrill Lynch and Paine Webber ( becoming UBS ).  After years of trading large, institutional fixed income portfolios with emphasis on tax advantaged strategies primarily built on municipal bond investments, in 2004 Mike opened up his own registered investment advisor ( RIA ) mainly concentrated as an expert in fixed income but soon found that most family offices utilized Mike as unique ally educating and protecting the families as they navigated the constantly changing investment landscape. From custodian selection – setup to holistic wealth management – he has become a Jack of all trades helping all centers of influence.

Mike has his undergraduate degree and MBA from Boston College where he was the starting quarterback for the football team. In 1992 and 1993, Mike signed as a free-agent quarterback with NFL – Houston Oilers.
